TUBITAK participated in the AAAS Career Fair organized by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) on February 17, 2017 in Boston, USA as part of the "DestinationTurkey" Initiative.
Destination Turkey Initiative aims to raise the awareness of the Turkish Research Area (TARAL), EU funds and national funds.
TUBITAK held a information desk to share information on research and funding opportunities in the Turkish Research Area, and had the opportunity to meet researchers, institutions and companies from all research areas and from every level of experience. In this context, 120 researchers were informed by TÜBİTAK experts about Marie S. Curie Actions, US-Turkey Bilateral Cooperations and National Fund Mechanisms (BIDEB).
In addition, researchers have been informed about the large-budget Research Funds that can be implemented in Turkey under Horizon 2020 European Research Council (ERC) Program.
